As our world is ever changing we want to make sure DDH has a backup plan in case there is another spike in illness in our local area. We humbly ask to please be patient with DDH and our staff as we attempt to chart these difficult times. As we are all navigating through the effects of the Coronavirus on our daily lives, we wanted to take a moment and address the questions you may be asking in case our virtual learning becomes a reality during out 2020 season. Click here for details on how we’ve evolved to comply with social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
WHAT IS DDH DOING ABOUT VIRTUAL DANCE LESSONS?
If need be, we will follow state mandates as a preventative measure to “flatten the curve” and stop the spreading of the virus in our community. In a response to our state’s request and in an effort to maximize social distancing, we would move to our learning environment to a digital online experience. We understand this would be different than our in-person experience, but we believe it will be a fun and innovative way for our students to continue to learn and grow as creatives! Dancers will have the option to learn virtually anytime during the dance season; we ask that you let us know when you are going to learn virtually, so our instructors can prepare the virtual learning space.
HERE’S WHAT THE DDH DIGITAL ONLINE EXPERIENCE WILL LOOK LIKE:
Virtual classes would be hosted online using our video platform of choice, which at this time will be ZOOM as well as PRE-RECORDED (“ON-DEMAND”) CLASSES via email. Zoom meeting ID’s (class video access) will be emailed to students prior to you class. If you did not receive a meeting ID by the day of your class, please contact us to make sure you get access.
