As our world is ever changing we want to make sure DDH has a backup plan in case there is another spike in illness in our local area. We humbly ask to please be patient with DDH and our staff as we attempt to chart these difficult times. As we are all navigating through the effects of the Coronavirus on our daily lives, we wanted to take a moment and address the questions you may be asking in case our virtual learning becomes a reality during out 2020 season.
WHAT IS DDH DOING ABOUT DANCE LESSONS?
If need be, we will follow state mandates as a preventative measure to “flatten the curve” and stop the spreading of the virus in our community. In a response to our state’s request and in an effort to maximize social distancing, we would move to our learning environment to a digital online experience. We understand this would be different than our in-person experience, but we believe it will be a fun and innovative way for our students to continue to learn and grow as creatives!
HERE’S WHAT THE DDH DIGITAL ONLINE EXPERIENCE WILL LOOK LIKE:
Dance Students – Classes would be hosted online using our video platform of choice(youtube, zoom, etc.). We will be offering both live and on-demand dance classes through our brand new virtual studio. Our main goal is to keep you dancing and also give you the flexibility and freedom to work on your dances on your own time. We will continue to update you as that information becomes available to us. Like last year we would give access to an online reference portal so students can access their music and any reference videos made by your instructor once these materials become available.
