Dance Studio Policies
Fall classes begin September 12, 2011 and end May 21, 2012.
- Attire: Leotards, unitards, biker shorts or leggings. No Jeans will be allowed!
- Jazz students are required to have black leather jazz shoes or dance sneakers.
- Hip Hop students will need jazz sneaker
- Tap students are required to have black tap shoes.
- All Combo Classes include instruction in Ballet, Tap and Jazz and or Creative dance and are required to have black tap shoes and leather ballet shoes (girls-pink, boys-black).
- Tiny dancer classes have instruction in basic dance movements and creative movements and are required to have leather ballet shoes.
- All Ballet students are required to wear leather ballet shoes (girls-pink, boys-black).
- Pointe Ballet students will need to be measured for shoes at least two weeks before fall classes begin at DDH Dance Academy. To enroll in Pointe Ballet, dancers must be enrolled in additional ballet class and must be recommended by the instructor.
- Troupe classes are by audition only. Must have one year of dance instruction with Ms. Dee Dee or Ms. Kelly to be eligible to audition and must be registered for an additional dance class for Fall. Audition dates in Spring. Call for more details.
- A costume deposit of $55 will be due by the end of
October if you choose to take part in Recital. Costumes are yours to keep. - DDH Dance Academy is not responsible for injuries sustained during class sessions, performances or competitions.
- Classes will be canceled (due to weather) if Wausau Public Schools are canceled.
